3rd. Annual Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Bethlehem - 2013
This is from Fr. Peter Carota, who will be leading the pilgrimage from St. Stephen's FSSP parish starting this Friday. As we have more details, we will let you know.
I will be leading the Traditional Pilgrimage for St. Stephen Martyr Sacramento, California on Friday May 17th starting at San Juan Bautista Mission with a 8 am Holy Latin Mass. Everyone is invited to the Holy Mass, but the pilgrimage is already full. Then we will be walking to Salinas and celebrate the Holy Mass Saturday morning at the chapel at the Queen of Heaven cemetery. This is where the Monterey Bay Area Traditional Latin Mass community hold their Latin Mass every Sunday at 10:30 am. Then we walk to Marina and spend the night there. Pentecost Sunday we walk to Carmel with Holy Latin Mass at 3 pm. All are invited to participate in the Holy Latin Mass at Carmel Mission. Afterward we will have a picnic dinner at San Juan Bautista Mission on the way back to Stockton/Sacramento. This is not part of the Pilgrimage, but just a time to get together and be thankful we are loving traditional Catholics. Bring food and chairs to sit on.
Here is the itinerary for events during the Pilgrimage that our community is invited to attend:
Fri. May 17 - 8am Mass at Mission San Juan Bautista, breakfast afterwards.
Between 5-5:30 pm Benediction will start at Queen of Heaven Cemetery Chapel
Sat. May 18 - 8:30 am Mass at Queen of Heaven Cemetery Chapel
Sun. May 19 - 3:00 pm Mass at the Carmel Mission
