Savory Sundays


Thanks to all of you who contribute to our weekly Sunday potluck table. We are going to try something new for the New Year. Hearing from many people (except the children of course) that their minds and bodies are fatiguing of the sweets, we have decided to designate one Sunday a month to "healthier" options. So starting this Sunday, January 3rd., and then every first Sunday of the month we will have "Savory Sunday". We encourage everyone to leave the sweets at home and bring high protein, healthy options. Some ideas for these Sundays could be any hot food item such as soups and stews or sandwiches, cheese and crackers, salads, fruits and healthy dips. Cold or hot beverages are also welcomed.
